With the river Danube as its centrepiece, Budapest shows off its flamboyant history, Baroque architecture, intricate cave systems and dramatic sunset views on the Buda side. While elaborate market halls, Soviet monuments, vibrant ruin bars and Europe’s largest thermal baths dot the Eastern Pest side of the city.  Undoubtedly one of Europe’s most underrated cities, spending three days in Budapest is just enough time to sample some of what the city has to offer.
